CORE was groundbreaking when it was introduced in 1993, embracing and empowering model-based systems engineering ahead of its time. However, as software technology and market needs have evolved, we are adapting to provide even more powerful tools to address our community’s needs.
Vitech began developing GENESYS in 2005 and launched it in 2011 as the eventual replacement for CORE. Designed and built from the ground up with modern tools and user interface (UI) and the flexibility of a completely open architecture, GENESYS represents the culmination of years of dedicated research, development, and feedback from our customers. It is designed to be the ultimate successor to CORE – offering robust systems engineering capabilities while enabling the open exchange of information across tool and team boundaries.
Special Migration Promotions through

- A license that is current on maintenance may be migrated to any chosen GENESYS 2023 license (excluding Server 100) at no cost.
- A license for which maintenance has lapsed may be reinstated and upgraded to a GENESYS 2023 Named License by paying the applicable maintenance and support coverage for a minimum of 12 months.
