Scripts

Scripts in GENESYS are useful as utility programs and for performing simple queries. They are available in Project Explorer tree view under the Scripts folder. The scripts are grouped by functionality. Included with GENESYS are several scripts used by GENESYS for diagnostics and outputting TeamView.

 

 

Scripts use the context of a project so a project must be open in order to edit or run a script.

 

Scripts are a repository level item. This means that the same scripts are available to everyone who logs into the repository and in any project that you have in the repository. This allows one person to make modifications that can be used by all. This also means that you need to duplicate a script if you want to make it custom for a particular project.
