The Disconnect Permanently command, accessed on the right-click context menu for a related project listed in Project Explorer deletes all cross-project relationships for a specific project. Before proceeding, it warns the user that the action is permanent.
If the related project is accessible, GENESYS will remove the relationships from both projects. If the related project is not accessible (if it is offline or has been lost), GENESYS will remove the relationships within this project. A project administrator must then remove the relationships from the other project as they are orphaned and incomplete.
Once this command completes, the related project is removed from the list since cross-project relationships no longer connect to the project.
NOTE: |
What permissions are required to permanently disconnect a related project? To permanently disconnect a related project, you must have administrator permission for the current project. Users with appropriate write permission can remove individual cross-project relationships, but to sever ties with a related project requires project administrator permission. |
