Delete Project

The Delete Project command, accessed in Administrative Tools under the Projects tab, fully removes the selected project from the repository.

 

 

Once deleted, a project cannot be recovered from the repository. Before the project is deleted, you are prompted to confirm the action.

 

 

 

     

NOTE:

What permissions are required to delete a project?

To delete a project, you must have Administrator permissions for the project. System Administrators who have not been granted Administrator permission for a project do not have persmissions to delete the project.

 

 

     

CAUTION!

It is highly recommended that GENESYS users create a complete project backup using the Export command in GENESYS before deleting any project except for local sandbox projects created for experimentation.
