The Perform All Diagnostics updates the completeness, consistency, and custom checks for the selected elements. The consistency checker and customer checker paths from the project property sheet are used to identify the appropriate scripts, and the scripts are run silently. The updated fields for all three checks are then populated with the current timestamp to reflect the last time the diagnostic results were updated.

This command is intended to quickly check an element or a handful of elements of interest. Therefore, it's not the most efficient way to perform diagnostic checks on larger portions of the database (folders, packages, or the entire project). To perform bulk checks of the database, use the Run Script command and select the Consistency Checks folder. Here you will find scripts that are optimized for folders, packages, and entire projects. You will also find diagnostic reports that output the results in list or tabular format. |
