Search
The Search capability, accessed on the Home ribbon, or on the right-click context menu, enables you to look for text in the entities of your project. The level of your search is dependent on what is selected in the Project Explorer pane when the Search command is invoked. The level can be the entire project, a package, or a folder.

Settings
- Search Scope - The options include Name, Name and Description, or All Attributes.
- Search Text - The text you are searching for. This can include single (?) or multi-character (*) wild cards.
- Include Subfolders / Include Subpackages - When a folder or package is selected, this option will appear and allow you to include or exclude subfolders or subpackages.
- Match Case - Match the case of the word entered into the Search Text field (e.g., search for "Test" with Match Case checked - valid result would include "Testing" but not "testing").
- Match Whole Word - Match while words only (e.g., search for "abc" with Whole Word selected - valid result would include "abc" but not "abcd" nor "zabc").
Search Results
Once you have defined your search click OK. If there are no results, you will receive a prompt stating that no results were found. If there are entities that contain the search text, this list of entities will be shown under the Search Results portion of Project Explorer. When selecting the entities on this list,, the default view is a read-only listing of where the search text was found with the search text highlighted. Also available are the normal tabs for this entity.
Context Commands
- Hovering over the search result will show you the options selected for this search.
- Clear Results - Available on the Search Result entry context menu, this command will clear all search results from the project.
