The Clear All Formatting command, accessed on the right-click context menu, removes all formatting from the current text field (as opposed to simply clearing formatting for the selected text). This includes restoring the font to the default font family and font size specified in the user preferences as well as clearing font styles, sizing, and coloring.
This is useful when restoring text to its default font and presentation so that reporting style sheets can control the presentation. This command also strips out embedded, hidden formatting that can be copied into GENESYS attribute from tools such as Microsoft Word® but which are not supported when embedded into Word rich text format (RTF) files (such as embedding tables within tables).
