Import Custom Command Ribbon

The Import (Custom Command Ribbon) command enables you to load a saved custom ribbon file.

 

 

When importing, you are asked to select the desired file using the standard Windows file dialog. Stored ribbon files have the extension .GNCC and can only be imported using this Import command.

 

 

 

     

NOTE:

What permissions are required to import ribbon commands?

Since these settings are per user and stored in the user profile, there is no special permissions necessary.

 

     

NOTE:

There is a difference between the Import command available from the Custom Command Ribbon Editor and the Custom command option under Users and Groups in the general Import command. The Import command in the Ribbon Editor will import the ribbon from another user. The custom ribbon option under Users and Groups imports the custom ribbon information for every user.
