Edit Schema

The Edit Schema command on the Schema ribbon closes all database windows for the project and activates the commands to edit the project schema. Once in schema mode, this command is disabled. To switch back to database mode, select either End Schema Editing or Cancel Schema Edits. If you want to check the consistency of the schema changes you have already made, use the Check Schema Consistency command.

 

Only one user (with administrator privileges for the selected project) can access the schema extender for a given project at a time. All other users must be logged out of the project.

What permissions are required to shift the project mode? To shift a project to or from schema mode, you must have administrator permission for the project
