The Duplicate command creates copies of the selected entity/entities under a different name. For each entity being duplicated, GENESYS will prompt you to specify the name for the entity copy (the default name simply appends " - Copy" to the existing entity name). In addition, you have the option of duplicating relationships with other entities (the attributes and parameters are duplicated by default) by checking the box on the bottom of the window.
CAUTION! |
Duplicating relationships for entities with structures (specifically functions) can produce unexpected results. When relationships are duplicated, it will modify the structure of the entity's parent. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you do not duplicate relationships when duplicating functions. If you choose to duplicate relationships for these entities, you should review the structure of the entity's parent for undesired results. |
