Save Diagram as an Image
The Save As Image command, accessed on the Diagram ribbon on the Save drop-down list, generates an external graphic file of the current GENESYS diagram. This allows you to insert the diagram into presentation tools such as PowerPoint or to manually insert images into reports and web pages.
When saving a diagram, you are prompted to specify the file name and type using as standard Windows file dialog.
GENESYS supports saving your diagram in multiple graphic formats:
- GIF - Graphic Interchange Format is often an animated raster graphics file.
- JPEG (JPG, JPE) - perhaps the most universally supporting images format, JPG is a compressed raster format suitable for almost any use.
- Portable Network Graphics (PNG) - developed as a replacement for GIF, the PNG format is positioned as a "lossless, portable" format for raster images. Though not as universally supported as JPEG, the PNG format is very well supported and perhaps the best choice for web usage.
- TIFF (TIFF, TIF) - Tag Image File Format is a common format for exchanging raster graphics images between application programs, including those used for scanner images.
- Bitmap (BMP) - BMP is a classic raster format.
- XPS - a document that contains fixed page layout information written in the XPS page description language.
