New Dependency

To add a new dependency for the current component, double-click or drag-drop the New Dependency item from the Insert Constructs tab of the diagram Toolbox. 

 

 

A new Unified Modeling Language (UML) Association is added to the start of the relation for the target entity and a new Component is created and added to the ends of the relation for the UML Association. Also, the following attributes are set for the UML Association: Type is set to Dependency; Directionality is set to Bidirectional.
