Edit Part Role

The Edit Part Role command allows you to specify the part role for the selected aggregation or composition. The role is captured within GENESYS as an attribute on the built in relationship between the child Component and its parent. This command allows you to easily assign the role name directly from the class diagram without opening the property sheet for the Component.

 

 

Class diagrams display the role name (if defined) at the connection point for the aggregate or composition Components.
