The Edit Mappings command allows you to map the independent and dependent variables to the target entities. The command will be available when a line between two nodes is selected.
This information is added in a collection since there could be multiple mappings that could occur between two entities. Before mappings are entered there is only one line and it has no decoration. After the mapping(s) are entered, a line per mapping will be drawn between the entities each with one of the mapping as line decoration.
This collection is stored in the relationship attribute on the relationship between the two entities. We do not recommend that this information be entered or edited by editing that relationship attribute.
The ADD button will allow you to enter a new mapping. Select a value from each side of the pane - one from each entity. This is limited to the appropriate selections based on the relationship used.
The Remove button removes the selected entry from the collection.
The Change button allows you to modify the selected entry.
