The Delete User command, accessed in Administrative Tools under the Users tab, deletes the selected user(s) from the system.
You must confirm the deletion as shown since this will permanently delete the user from the repository.
NOTE: |
Since each user is assigned a unique ID upon creation, creating a new user with the same name will actually create a new user account. In most cases, it is not desirable to delete a user. Instead, simply disable the user account in the user property sheet. This maintains the user identity in GENESYS but prevents access to the account. |
NOTE: |
What permissions are required to delete a user? To delete a user, you must be part of the Administrators group. Project Administrators can grant users permission to access a project, but System Administrator permission is required to create, delete, or otherwise change a user account. |
