Save Repository

The Save Repository command enables you to save your local CORE repository under the existing file name. The local repository is saved in a binary format that captures all local projects and configuration data. The Save Repository command is only used in conjunction with the local repository. When working with remote projects on a CORE Server, all project data is stored on the CORE Server.

 

 

When saving the repository, you have two additional options:

 

 

CORE provides many different data file formats for storing data. The binary repository file format is the fastest format for saving and loading repositories. It’s a good working file format, but it’s not well suited for archival or exchange purposes. Be sure to regularly export your data to XML format for backup and exchange purposes.
